| The Illinois Valley Rehabilitation Center in Gillespie Illinois is one of many programs operated by the non profit Illinois Valley Economic Development Corporation (IVEDC) The Rehab Center located on Walnut Street provides life skills training and employment opportunities for participating adults with developmental disabilities. Walnut Street Gardens is a unique addition to the Rehab Center in the way in which it allows the participants to utilize the full scope of their talents and where the public is encouraged to browse among the vegetable and flower gardens or shop for hand made gifts and decorations in the craft Barn. |
